LME (London – Munich Exchange), founded in 2015, is an international, non-fixed group of artists based in Britain and Germany working in a variety of media, ranging from sculpture, painting and installation to photography, time-based media and performance.

The aim of the London-Munich Exchange is to explore in ongoing projects the passage of time and its specific expression in the architecture of a site, place or landscape, while establishing  and deepening artistic and cultural links between these two cities.

The projects, jointly titled ‘Ruins of Time’, are carried out primarily in London and Munich, but also in other places fitting the Ruins of Time concept.
